Add to Cart Behaviour
The Add to Cart (ATC) button on the video listing or video carousel functions as follows:
1. Video Playlist Widget
Multiple Products Linked: Tapping Add to Cart (ATC) opens the video detail dialog to explore multiple products promoted by the video.
Single Product Linked:
Single Variant: Directly adds the product to the cart.
Multiple Variants:
If the Shopify website settings allow changing the variant in the cart, the product is added to the cart.
Otherwise, the video detail dialog opens.
2. Video Detail Overlay
Multiple Variants:
If the cart allows changing the variant, the product is added to the cart.
Otherwise, the product detail UI opens for variant selection.
Single Variant:
In Stock: Normal add to cart.
Out of Stock: ATC button is disabled and displays "Out of Stock."
3. Product Detail UI
Selecting a different variant will now dynamically check stock status. If the selected variant is out of stock, the ATC button will be disabled with "Out of Stock" text.
4. UI Controls
Mute video
When enabled, the video will open in a muted state for the visitor.
When disabled (default), the video will start playing with sound when the visitor opens it.
Hide the video if all attached products are out of stock or unavailable.
This option is available only when the Video source is set to From Video Gallery or when the Video Footer in Other Configuration is set to First Product.
If all videos are getting hidden, the campaign will be paused automatically.
When disabled (default), the video will be shown to visitors even if the linked product is out of stock or unavailable.
When enabled, videos with all items out of stock or unavailable will be skipped and not shown to visitors.
The system explicitly checks the video source and footer conditions before applying this filter.
If all videos are skipped, the system will automatically pause the campaign.
If a video has at least one available product, it will be shown to visitors.
