Troubleshooting

Fixes for sign-in errors, missing tools or stores, empty results, long date ranges and numbers that don't match.

Sign-in fails with "No member linked"

Your Cooee account hasn't finished setting up its new sign-in yet. Sign in to the Cooee dashboard once, then connect the AI tool again.

The assistant can't see my store, or says access is denied

  • Ask "Using Cooee, list my stores" to see which stores your account can access.

  • The connector shows only the stores your dashboard account can access. Ask your store's admin to add you in the Cooee dashboard.

  • If you manage several stores, include the store's name in your question.

I can't add Cooee in ChatGPT

  • Custom connectors need ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu. They aren't available on the Free or Plus plans.

  • Add Cooee on chatgpt.com in a browser. The mobile and desktop apps can't add custom connectors.

  • In a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, only admins, owners and members an admin has authorised can add one. Ask your workspace admin to add Cooee, or to give you permission.

A tool or type of data is missing

Some permissions may not have been granted when you connected. Disconnect Cooee in your AI tool's connector settings, connect again, and approve all permissions.

The assistant doesn't use Cooee

  • Claude: check that the Cooee connector is switched on for the chat, in the tools menu in the message box.

  • ChatGPT: type @ and select Cooee before your question. The selection applies to one message, so select it again for a follow-up that needs new data.

  • Mentioning Cooee in your question also helps, for example "Using Cooee, …".

A question fails after Cooee releases an update

AI tools load the list of Cooee's tools when you connect, so a chat opened before an update can still use the old version and get an error.

  • Claude and most other tools: start a new chat. If it still fails, disconnect and connect Cooee again.

  • ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu: the workspace keeps the version of Cooee's tools that was published. A workspace admin needs to refresh Cooee's tools in the workspace's app settings.

Results are empty

  • Campaign, product and visitor-behaviour data starts on 17 June 2026. Earlier dates return nothing.

  • Check that your filters (page, UTM, country) match your data exactly. UTM values are case-sensitive.

  • Experiment results for each variant appear about an hour after an experiment starts receiving visitors.

"Date range" error or the request times out

Campaign, product and impact reports cover up to 366 days per question, or 92 days for a daily campaign breakdown. Large stores can also time out on very long landing page reports. Ask for a shorter range, or split it into months.

Numbers differ from the dashboard or Shopify

  • Check that the dates and filters match. The connector uses your store's timezone.

  • Campaign revenue in reports is last-touch revenue for the dates you chose. The campaign page in the dashboard shows lifetime influenced revenue.

  • Visitor counts don't add up across days or rows, because each visitor is counted once per row.

  • Cooee and Shopify count sessions differently. See Why session and visitor counts differ between Cooee and Shopify.
